The fountain takes inspiration from Psalm14:1 and expands on the fact that we cannot live our lives as though there is no God. Christ is the living water (John 4:10). And so just as the deer longs for water, our spirits long to be attached to the source of Living Water. It is where we get our strength, where we can rest our heads, where we are refreshed for a new day.
This fountain does not mean that there will be no problems in this world. NO that is not the case. What it is, is a source that we can return to again and again and again.
A source that never runs dry. A source that knows exactly how much we need that day.
